About Dana

Hello! Caring for children and watching them grow and thrive has always been one of my greatest joys, I'm a proud mom to an amazing adult daughter and a happy grandmother to her wonderful son, who joined our family through foster care and is now officially adopted - what a thrill and blessing! For the past 12 years, I've had the privilege of serving twice a month at an orphanage in Tijuana, building lasting relationships with children from newborns to teens, I truly believe that being present and consistent shows children that I'm someone who genuinely cares about them and has their best interests at heart. My approach is patient, creative and fun - I always make space for active listening and meeting each child where they are. I'm certified in First Aid and CPR, and keep communication open with parents in the way that works best for them. I'm looking forward to learning more about your family and how I can best support your needs.
