About Dana

Hi! My name is Dana. Caring for children has been one of my joys for over 16 years. Before moving to Georgia, I ran a successful family childcare business in my home for 8 years. I am responsible and dependable, but also energetic and fun, which helps me connect easily with children. I have taken courses in positive communication with children, healthy eating, early childhood development, and I am certified in First Aid and CPR. Some of the things I enjoy most with children are playing outdoors, crafting, exploring and learning through hands-on activities, and reading together. Nurturing children comes naturally to me, and over the years this has helped me build many lasting relationships with families. Since moving to Georgia, I have been working PT at a church for the past 4 years, caring for little ones from 6 mos to 4 years old. I also babysit for many families in the area on an as-needed basis, which has been such a wonderful way to meet new families and gain great references.
