I'm Damon - an LA based special needs caregiver. At the end of March, I wrapped up my last role as a Caregiver to a young man with Angelman Syndrome. He was 19 when I met him and 22 when I left the role. We transitioned him to a live-in community in March. During my tenure, I handled all of his care - hygiene, therapy management (OT, ABA, SLP, PT), eating, toileting, community outings etc. The family is very high profile and I valued discretion and integrity in the role. Prior to that job, I worked as a 1:1 behavioral aide in top LA private schools with kids with various neurodivergent needs. I've also been a Manny, soccer coach, tutor, instructor and Family Assistant. In my personal life, I'm married with two wonderful toddlers, aged 3 and 4 and always love to cook and flex creativity in any way.

Damon has been an angel to our family. We were looking for a shadow for our 3 year old son who was having behavioral issues at his preschool. My son loves him and has responded really well to Damon. They are still working together and will be till at least the end of January. I hope Damon will helps us out after we are done with the shadowing if we ever need child care. He communicates really well with me the mother and is very caring and great at what he does.
