About Damon

I've worked with kids as far back as high school and recently took it on as a serious career. Having just completed a very intense contact with a tween severely on the spectrum and with some emotional disturbances, I have come to feel validated that I truly have the patience and personality for this type of work. Currently, I'm serving as an in-class aide to a toddler with some impulse control. I hope to formally complete some ABA and related coursework to continue to work with children with daily challenges and special needs but in the meantime I'm really valuing my hands on education and experience. I have found that this line of work is so rewarding and that I'm constantly learning about humanity from these kids. My other childcare experience includes soccer coaching, tutoring and being a nanny.
