About Damaris

Hi families! My name is Damaris, 28 years old and I have 8 years of experience working in early childhood education, most recently in a 3K classroom. I truly loved my last year teaching and have extensive experience supporting children's social, emotional, and developmental growth. I'm currently in school studying diagnostic medical sonography, with hopes of working with expecting mothers in the future. I have first aid training and am CPR certified. Working with children and families has always been something I'm passionate about, and I bring patience, warmth, and structure into every environment I'm in. I love engaging kids in creative play, reading, learning activities, and even helping in the kitchen if they enjoy cooking! I'm also comfortable with pets - I have a Yorkie of my own. I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and fun space where children feel supported and cared for!
