My name is Damaris. I was raised right here in Charleston, SC! My experience goes beyond 1000 characters. I should start off by saying not only do I have experience with children and adults with all different disabilities, I too have a grandfather who I cared for most of my life. He is handicap because he only operates with one leg. With the trauma of losing his leg he got accompanied by a lot of problems. I made sure his everyday needs were met such as personal care; bathing and dressing. As well as basic food preparation, housekeeping and laundry. I also assisted with mobility and general health care by overseeing medication usage. I have a lot of experience with older aged men and women to which I've enjoyed throughout the years. I don't look as myself as a care taker but more of a friend that always makes sure your taken care of.
