About Dalya

Hi! My name is Dalya :) I am a recent Biology graduate from the University of Maryland. Aside from my academic experiences, I've been babysitting on and off for various families over the past 6 years. Granted, each family is different, but I have always been able to adapt easily and fit right in! My motto is to help wherever I can, whether you're in need of someone to help meal prep, care for pets, clean/organize, do laundry, tutor, or need a sitter for a date night, I'm your person :) Not only can I take on these tasks but I have a genuine love for cooking/baking, cleaning, teaching, and most importantly, caring. My approach to childcare is quite simple, yes I believe safety is of utmost importance, but so is being open-minded, open-hearted and finding joy in the little things. I think that every child wants to feel accepted, encouraged, and cared for and I will strive to be their biggest cheerleader!
