I have worked in Home Health for the last 8 years and 2 years prior to that in a Nursing Home. I am Home Health Certified and have worked with all sorts of wonderful people between elderly to people with disabilities!! In the Nursing Home I was around Dementia Residents and also Elderly who lived "on their own" in the apartments side; some of them even had pets. Nursing Home I did housekeeping and laundry lady, Home Health I did everything from housekeeping, laundry to distributing their meds when needed and paid transportation when needed to medical appointments, get together with other individuals within the company they were friends, if they had a job and just anything that was scheduled for that week!
