Raising children should be seen as a blessing, not a burden. I believe that every child should be given the opportunity to grow and flourish in this ever-changing world. Through multiple years of experience at after school programs my time spent with kids has given me even more of an appreciation for their opinions and fresh outlook on each day we have here. Every child should be treated as their own individual and I strive to enhance their education and sense of self. Each child deserves to be treated with respect and compassion, giving them a feeling of acknowledgement and self worth. Having organized arts & crafts, homework time, group activities, reading time, snack time, and community outreach programs, I feel there will never be a dull moment when caring for a child where there is always an opportunity to learn and grow.
