I have 5 yrs of CBRF and memory care experience, through Capri Communities, where I also became certified to pass medications. I am familiar with hoyer lifts, sit-to-stands, cueing, bathing, lifting and providing ADL's. Prior to working in a facility, I helped care for my grandmother while in highschool. She had paralysis on one side of her body, so I learned how to take care of her in a wheelchair which helped me gain experience to work in a facility. During my time at Capri, I also took on an in-home care position for an elder with Alzheimer's who needed companionship. I assisted him with workbooks which provided brain games/activities. We went on many walks and I cooked with him, once in a while. I am looking for a part time job where I can assist you or your family member/s to live better.
