About Dajra

Hello, My name is Dajra. I am a college student at UNC majoring in mechanical engineering but I reside in burlington during the summer. Helping students gain confidence and discover that they CAN succeed is my favorite part of tutoring. I believe every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand what works best for them and adjust my teaching style accordingly. Whether that means using visual examples, hands-on activities, or simply explaining things in a new way, my goal is to make learning feel less stressful and more rewarding. I focus on building understanding, not just memorization, and I break challenging concepts into manageable steps. I also believe strong communication with both students and parents helps create the best learning environment. Seeing a student's confidence grow and watching a difficult concept finally click is what makes this work so meaningful. I look forward to helping students reach their goals and enjoy learning along the way.
