I'd describe my personality as lively, nurturing, proactive, and empathetic. I like working with kids because they are full of wonder and possibility. My top childcare skills include emotional intelligence, patience, compassion, creative planning, and a wide variety of communication skills. I'm looking for a job that allows me to further develop my skillset and knowledge as a full- spectrum doula. That is, I am looking for an opportunity to work close to full-time with babies, young children, new parents, assisting with the post-partum and beyond needs and changes of families. I started formally caring for children as a Nanny when I was 20 years old. Since, I have also worked assisting children on the spectrum and their families by carrying out the ABA treatment plans their BCBA would suggest. In my spare time, I like to paint, spend time with other members of nature, cook, try out pottery classes and projects, and write. I also love to spend time with my dog!
