My name is Daira (pronounced Dye-Ruh)

I have babysat for about 10 years now. I am a Social Worker. I am bilingual (SPA). I am willing to help with meal prep and light housekeeping. I am happy to help and provide references.

Daira was very quick and responsive when setting up the babysitting job. She got here 10 minutes early and was very pleasant and professional. I asked my son this morning if he would like Daira to come watch him again and he said “Yes, definitely”.  I will definitely be asking her to help again. 

Daira was fantastic. Great communication, and my 8-yo daughter absolutely loved her. Will definitely ask her to sit again. 

Daira was great! She watched our 19 month old son during our visit to Asheville, and he had a great time with her.

We love Diara! She is reliable and fun. She has babysat our two daughters since they were infants and has done a great job at all ages. They are 3 and 5 now and she keeps them entertained and having fun!

We have used Daira several times now when we have visited Highlands, North Carolina, and we very much recommend her. She is timely, responsible, and our kiddos absolutely love her! 

Daira is the best sitter! I was a nanny for many years myself and Daira surpassed all my hopes for an incredible playmate &caregiver for my son. He is very high energy and she is so skillful at redirecting his energy and helping him play safely. She’s become like a part of our family. If you’re lucky enough to hire her, you won’t want to let her go :-) 

Daira was a wonderful babysitter. My son was 15 months old at the time. She was flexible even willing to end up taking an additional child at the end of the night. I came into town for a wedding and she was kind, comfortable, and had an ease with my child. I will be using her again when we revisit in the summer. She is very warm and easy to get to know (making me more comfortable). She is playful yet understanding of schedules. If you need someone for child care I highly recommend!!! Don't look any further or worry with Daira! Very trustworthy with a great attitude!

Daira worked as a part-time nanny for my family for about 1 year before moving for school. She was wonderful with our two daughters, then 2 years and 4 years old. She is kind, patient, dependable, and just such a good personality for taking care of children. We were very happy with Daira, and were sad to see her go! We highly recommend her for babysitting or nanny service! 

Diara is the best sitter we ever had. My daughter was very upset to learn she was moving away. She is great and will be missed

Daira babysat my two boys ages 4 and 2 for almost a year. I was so sad when she said she was moving! I can honestly say I have not met anyone like her! I have two wonderful babysitters now, and even though my kids love them, S. (my youngest) has not connected with anyone like he has with Daira! It made my heart so full how much S. would love on her, and when it was time for her to go, he almost would not let her. She was able to drive my 4 yr old to preschool. She also worked extremely early hours, as early as 4:30am, which can be super hard. She was always willing to help out whenever I needed her, even if she was not scheduled for that. She was more then a sitter or nanny, she felt like family. Housework was kept up, she played with the kids constantly. I could not have asked for anyone better to watch my babies. On top of all that she was wonderful to my dog Roxanne, who is also one of my babies :). 

Daira volunteers her time every week in our Children's Ministry. She is wonderful with the children and they love being with her!

I have had Daira watch my toddler many times. She is very dependable with routines, meals, even putting him to bed. I highly recommend her for taking care of children.
