About Daina

Hi, I'm Daina! I'm a Chicago native with a deep love for childcare and a passion for early childhood education. I've worked as a sitter and nanny all over the city for over a decade. I spent a year working as an assistant guide in a Montessori toddler classroom environment; before that, I led a pandemic of three 2yo's, who learned ESL with me through an in-home Montessori curriculum. I have experience with children from birth through middle school - though I do especially love working with infants, toddlers, and preschool aged children! I truly love working with children. Nothing makes me happier than getting to help children grow and watch them become awesome little humans. I'm especially passionate about fostering children's independence and self-esteem using a gentle, child-led approach.
