My elderly caregiving experience,.. I am NOT a licensed nurse, I am NOT vacinated, and I will not wear a mask(ask me why), but I have cared for seniors, personaly hired here on care. com for 7 yrs. I prepared food, shopping, helped with bath, dress, medicine, cleaning, companion, laundry, bills, pets, garden, organizing... I am very kind, attentive, patient and most honest and trustworthy. I can help with light bthing/shower, meaning not being able to lift out of bath tub more than 130-140 lbs weight, as for liability and lack of training and equipment. I would prefer shower and seat. I have worked in adult family homes as a helper, and been around alzheimer/dementia and wheelchairs. , I worked in a senior/rehab as a hairdresser for 7 yrs as well, including alzheimer/ dementia customers, I'm well aware the patience, repetitiveness, frustration, love and reassurance they need,. my loving energy most often seems to calm them,.(as my own mother tells me @ 80 when I visit her 1-2 a week)
