About Daecia

Hi, my name is Daecia. I'm 28 and currently work full time in hospice administration. I also have extensive experience working in care facilities in both assisted living and memory care settings having been a part of the management team of the last facility I worked with here in town. When caring for your loved one, my priority is to protect their individuality and dignity. As our seniors age, losing the ability to do things they once were able to do independently can feel shameful or humiliating. In my care, they will never feel as though they are an inconvenience.. and I will strive to allow and encourage them to engage in any and all activities to the best of their ability and desire. If they desire to not do a single dish in the sink, I will take care of them all. If they really want to be able to do the dishes, I will hold a gait belt with them so they are able to do the dishes until they are unable to continue on but feel fulfilled with what they were able to accomplish.
