"C" as my mom used to call her has been a critical component in fulfilling our promise to keep her (mom) in her own house. Cynthia made that possible. In the last 4 years of my moms life Cynthia has become a friend and more. She took care of my mother and at the same time provided dignity, compassion, humor, and a very healthy diet. Knowing she was there with Mom made it much easier on our minds when we had to go about the daily business of making a living: I could feel good about knowing she was in good hands. Cynthia also made it logistically possible to bring mom on trips and vacations with us... and some of my best memories are all of us together.
