I started taking care of kids when I was 10. My niece was born then and since my brother worked many hours, after school I would pass for her to day care and take care of her until my brother was back from work. Now she's in elementary and my sister in law is back home therefore she doesn't need my care anymore. In San Antonio I took care of a baby boy and a 5-year-old girl, I would pick them up from school/ day care and care for them until their mom would get home, mainly around 3 a.m. or so. Also in another home I took care of a 3-year-old girl every Saturday. Her mom was an accountant and she had an early shift. I've had a great experience and hopefully this helps me achieve my goal of becoming an elementary certified teacher.

Cynthia worked for me for a year. As a babysitter for my at the time, three year old daughter. My daughter loves her and she was so well behaved with Cynthia. She is very good with children, she's smart and she has the patience to handle working with stubborn little ones. She would babysit my Abigail from 10 am to 4 am for 40 dollars a day, three days a week, unless I had a little more to give her. She is very respectful and learns fast, I would definitely recommend her and trust her with my child, or anyone's. She's a godsend!
