I have 10 years of experience. I started at 13 years old babysitting a family of 6 girs from age 8 down to 9months. They are grown today and still love me very much. I have pretty much raised my nephews who are now a senior in high school and a student at UCSantaBarbara. They are wonderful musicians, love to read, have an avid curiosity & love to learn, have grounded temperaments and know how to regulate themselves when times are unexpectedly stressful. The basis of my work, first and foremost, is good food. Minimal sugar (of course not being too strict but having conversations about food choice & how it makes you feel so they can decide). I am a born teacher and ove children. Even babies are drawn to me (I volunteer at my church in San Francisco for the littles newborn to 3 yrs). I can always calm a stressed out kid. I have experience with autism spectrum (a very sensitive nervous system) and love those "artistic" kids as well.

Cindy has been helping us for a few months with our 10 month old. They absolutely love each other and Cindy does a wonderful job at keeping her fed, playing with her, and putting her down for naps (which can be a challenge at times) - amongst so many other things! Our daughter is always happy to see her and is more tired at the end of the day from all the fun they have. She is reliable, on time, and we would highly recommend her for any childcare help!
