A little about myself: I have worked full-time the last 12 years for a group home for adults with mental retardation. I loved my job and the people I took care of. My duties included everything from getting them out of bed, bathing, brushing teeth to preparing food, meal prep and assist in feeding, as well as transporting and cleaning. Around 4 years ago my husband and I had decided to check out Foster Care. We have now been certified as Foster Parents for the state of Kentucky for 4 years now. We absolutely love it.
