About Cynthia

I love working with kids, nurturing and helping souls grow. I love the process of a child becoming their own person. I started working with kids when I was in elementary school. I would often choose the electives that were helping with the younger kids, and the special needs classes. Growing up in the church I was the go to helper with classes. As an adult I was diagnosed with autism, and led me to start working at the autism society as a DSP/social rec counselor. I absolutely loved it and learning more about them. In my spare time, I am often doing school work. I love art, oil pastels, watercolors, colored pencils, and clay. I love gaming. I love reading anything, books, news, etc. I love being in nature and with animals. I love learning! My skills include connecting emotionally, allowing people to be themselves without fear of being judged. De-escalation tactics, specifically with children with autism. Imagination play/arts and crafts. I am of an alternative aesthetic!
