About Cynthia

I'd describe my personality as caring, responsible and experienced. I like working with kids because as a veteran teacher and a parent of a 21-year-old son, I enjoy children's curiosity and sense of adventure. I like to cultivate a growth mindset for children as I build a trusting relationship. I'm looking for a job that values my deep and wide experience with child development both socially and academically. I started working with kids when I was 13 years old- bringing young child home from school and providing homework help with a light snack. In my spare time, I like to dance, spend time with family/friends and professionally develop my school leadership skills. One thing you should know about me is that I am also a fluent Spanish speaker and writer. My skills include safety, cleanliness, educational activities and meal prep.
