About Joanna

I am looking for a long term position. I live in Manorville working towards my masters in Marriage & Family Therapy. I have a bachelors in psychology. I worked as a nanny for years, including children with behavioral/intellectual disabilities. I have cared for siblings, from infancy to teenagers. I was a case manager for a housing agency for mentally ill adults for two years. I am organized and capable of managing difficult schedules. I am a stress cleaner, so I will tidy out of habit. I am a silly person. I think whimsy makes life more fun so I make every day tasks into games. I love playing games from make believe to board games, even video games if your kids want. Arts and crafts, reading and puzzles I also enjoy. I have some experience tutoring high school pre calc., so I have no issues with homework help. I charge on a sliding scale-the more hours you need the less I charge! Childcare is expensive and am as interested in the well-being of your family as much as my own.
