My interests in taking care of elderly people stems from me wanting to help an elderly individual who needs help at home or elsewhere, taking them to doctor appointments, grocery shopping, and taking care of insurance papers, if need be, and anything the individual needs help with. I LOVE & ENJOY helping people. It is VERY REWARDING for me. I have taken care of a 74-year-old woman who was extremely sick, but did not know why she was so sick. I took her to many doctors, ER hospital visits, and carried her to Scott & White in Temple, TX for her to be diagnosed & get the help she needed. I've also taken care of a cancer patient, driving him to radiation & chemo treatment for over 2 months, then making sure after treatment ended, he had very good care for his recovery. Tasks I have completed have been: doctor visits, picking up & administering medications, meal preparation, & continuous care of these patients. Both patients recovered to where they now have a very good quality of life.
