About Cynthia

Hi Everyone! My name is Cynthia. I first began working in schools right out of high school. I've always had a passion for working with children and especially enjoy their curiosity and silliness. I have worked in various schools as a Special Education Teacher Assistant, an ELD assistant, and a full-time teacher. I have also worked as a 1-on-1 tutor for multiple companies and most recently coordinated an after-school tutoring program for children in grades 1st-6th. In this role, I matched tutors with students and led reading/writing activities. I recently switched gears to focus on socio-emotional wellness for children and am working on my graduate degree to become a school counselor. I am currently looking for part-time/flexible jobs that will work around my schedule. I uphold anti-racist and pro-LGBTQ values and would like to work with families with similar ideals.
