About Cyndi

Hello to all, I am 27 years old. I have 9 years of experience in childcare. I am currently studying for my bachelor's in psychology. I also work full time in a residential facility for underserved youth where I provide therapeutic support. I have completed extensive training in child welfare and mental health through Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. I previously worked as a nanny for 7 years. Outside of my work and studies, I am also a mother to a 7-year-old girl. She has transformed my outlook on life and is the root of my passion for child welfare. I am coming back to nannying while I finish my degree. Ideally, I am looking for a family that wants 2-3 years commitment. I have experience managing day to day routines, household chores (including but not limited to laundry, cleaning, and cooking), navigating and deescalating emotional situations, and most importantly incorporating fun and developmentally appropriate activities.
