My name is Curtis and I have a high level of experience in behavior management among individuals with low and high-functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder along with social, emotional, and/or learning challenges affecting children and adults. I am not your average care-giver for individuals with disabilities. I have 10 years of personal experience in working with individuals with special needs, most experience stemming from the mental health field and a strive for assisting individuals in achieving their maximum potential towards independent living skills. When you hire me, not only will your loved one be cared for, they'll also be working on and learning new tactics to help navigate them on their journey towards self independence. Curtis has been working with our family for the past year. He works with our 12 year old son, who has autism, several times per week. They work on building skills to support independent living, perspective taking, flexibility and emotional regulation, all while having fun. Curtis is very personable, and from the first day we met him, we knew he was going to be a good match for our family. He is very professional, reliable, and highly skilled in special needs, yet he is very down to earth and approachable. My son adores him and looks forward to working with him each week. I highly recommend Curtis to any family that is looking for some support.
