Hello, my name is Kara, and I am 22 years old. I am currently employed as a specialized paraprofessional at a local elementary school. Because I work in the school system, I am currently looking for summer, before/after school, or occasional opportunities. I have around 8 years of experience, between working in a functional skills classroom, as a specialized camp counselor, a peer tutor in high school, a caregiver for before/after school care, and general babysitting/nannying experience. I have absolutely fallen in love with special education and learning new things from my students. I have lifting, feeding, bathing, overnight, and changing experience & I also love to have fun! I am also more than willing to help with housekeeping and transportation. I would love to provide activities to do with the children, and I believe communication is key with parents.
