I have cared for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, traumatic brain injuries and strokes, assisting with transfers, walking, exercise, activities daily living (ADLs) and basic skills. I know that caring for a loved one is not always easy. We live in a world that demands more of our time and energy. I have a heart for both seniors and their families. Working as a team member by adapting my skills to lifestyle and/or lifestyle changes and providing communication within the family (when permitted) is very important to me in order to maintain safety, security, and the ability to keep one in their home. I believe in keeping our loved ones in their homes as long as we can. Studies show that our loved ones thrive far more in their home than in a facility. I am a very experienced caregiver with a genuine love for people. Assisting and maintaining my clients' personal dignity is important to me and I do it well.
