Making a positive difference in the lives of others is my calling. With 10 years of experience, I've developed a deep passion for supporting the well-being and independence of adults and seniors. My background includes six years in a group home setting, caring for individuals with diverse diagnoses, including dementia. For the last four years, I worked as a case manager, overseeing multiple group homes. I am patient, compassionate, and approachable, and I prioritize understanding each person's unique preferences and history. I'm skilled at de-escalating stressful situations, managing confusion, and incorporating memory care activities. I am also adept at providing live-in care, transportation, running errands, home health assistance, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication management, mobility assistance, and encouraging physical activity. I always follow the family's preferred method of communication.
