About Crystal

Unlocking a student's unique potential drives my approach to education. With 14 years of experience working in the publicschool system, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I specialize in English, Science, History, and Special Education, supporting learners from elementary school through the college level. I adapt my teaching by incorporating visual aids, hands-on activities, and open communication to match your specific needs. When concepts become challenging, I break them down into manageable steps and connect them to your personal interests to maintain momentum. I prioritize clear, consistent communication with both students and parents to ensure a collaborative environment. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a complex idea finally clicks. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or a local center, I am dedicated to your success and look forward to growing alongside you.
