My caretaking experience started in high school I cared for my two brothers ages 3 and 5 at the time. Through high school I cared for my biological father as well who has schizophrenia and an amputated leg, last year I gain guardianship over my father and continue to be his full time caretaker. I worked as a direct care giver for young adults with autism, I became a lead manager in 3 months and dealt with high behaviors, and passed medications to the residents. My hope is to find a family who is in need of a caretaker for there home and children, that I can gain a connection with.
