Hello! My name is Tiena J. I am attending California University of Pennsylvania, and I am majoring in Child Psychology. I graduated from McKeesport Area High School in 2020, and participated in a Child Care/Development Tech Program for 2 years during high school. In the program, I taught and took care of preschool aged children (3 years old-5 years old). In high school, I worked at a daycare with children newborn to 12 years old, and I was a nanny for a 9-month-old a few summers ago. I worked at a daycare for about 9 months, but I had to quit due to my school schedule. I recently worked as a nanny for a family, but both kids went to school last fall. I currently work at another daycare part time. I also have experience with foster children due to my mother being a foster parent. I do drive and have a car if transportation is needed. Tiena worked with our two kids (ages 3 and 5) for the better part of a year and was wonderful to work with! She's calm, unflappable, flexible and dependable. Her background as a college student studying child psychology and her steadiness make her able to handle the toughest toddler (and even older kid) behaviors. Couldn't recommend more highly! We would absolutely hire her again.
