About Crystal

I am currently a certified 4th grade teacher at a local private, Christian school. I have been teaching for a total of 10 years. I adore tutoring elementary students when my schedule allows during the school year. I have been tutoring for 8 years. I possess an Orton-Gillingham certification and I specialize in tutoring students in reading, writing, and math. I have a special heart for students that have learning challenges with dyslexia and am eager to help any child that I am given an opportunity to help. I am patient, passionate, diligent and trustworthy. I like tutoring because I love helping children know and understand subjects that they once thought were difficult. I'm looking for a job that is flexible with my full-time teaching schedule. In my spare time, I like to workout at the gym, read, listen to podcasts, and spend time with my dog, Asher. One thing you should know about me is that I love children and am passionate about teaching.
