These things are so weird because how do you put 30 plus years of experience into a couple sentences? How do I explain that part of me loves taking care of other people's grandparents as a way of saying thank you to mine without sounding a little creepy? Or that nurturing others fills up the tiny cracks in my soul, like these little universal healing reminders of our shared humanity. Also never know when's a good time to include my father was a paranoid schizophrenic and I've basically been a caregiver my entire life. If we went off life experience alone, I might be overqualified, definitely almost a doctor by now, lol. I prefer to approach the hard parts with humor and a bit of grace, I've found it makes the weight a little easier to bear for all involved. The clinical stuff is a given, but I believe character to be just as important. I will love and care for your people as if my own, and have references who can attest.
