For the last 2 years I've been working on the pediatric floor in the hospital taking care of extremely compromised children. Previous to this, I spent 14 years in a nursing home taking care of trached and ventilated patients. Throughout these years I've done private care working with patients who have Alzheimer's and dementia, sundowning, hospice, those who need rehab, and assisted living. I am CPR certified and med pass certified. Some of my qualifications include: bathing/showering, mouth care, assisting with walking/ hoyer lift, toileting or changing, meal preparation (feeding or set-up), and companionship. My family hired crystal as a caregiver for our mother who had Alzheimer's and dementia. Her duties included bathing, dressing, mouth care, transferring, med pass, meal preparation and companionship.
