About Crystal

I have had vast experience working with children in a variety of settings, including: private babysitting, tutoring, daycare facility, teaching dance, yoga, or music classes, as well as being an NYC nanny. I pride myself on being able to see the world through the eyes of children, allowing me to relate to them in their play, while maintaining necessary daily structure and discipline. I have worked with children of all ages from birth through high school. I am especially experienced with infants, toddlers, and preschool children. I try to maintain the balance of structured activities and free play time, as best suits each child/family. I have lived in NYC for 16 years, so I am confident in navigating children on public transportation as needed. I am an active person, so I enjoy playgrounds, museums, zoos, and other age-appropriate activities. I am comfortable preparing meals, bath/bedtime rituals, doing dishes/laundry, and generally cleaning up, as needed. Pet-friendly too.
