About Crystal

I have several years of experience working with young children in toddler and preschool classrooms, supporting their growth through play-based and developmentally appropriate practices. At Preschool of the Arts, I co-teach toddlers using the Reggio Emilia approach, fostering a nurturing and creative environment that supports social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. Previously, at Hostos Community College Children's Center, I worked as a floater and teacher's assistant, engaging children in circle time, storytelling, and hands-on activities while supporting their daily needs. My approach emphasizes patience, creativity, and collaboration to help every child feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn.
