About Cristen

My primary focus is safety, comfort, and emotional presence. I offer non-medical support that complements hospice care, including emotional, spiritual, practical, and grief support for both patients and loved ones. I support families with end-of-life planning conversations, including guidance and education around advance directives, helping ensure values and wishes are clearly expressed and supported by all of the care team. One area of my work that families find especially relieving is Swedish Death Cleaning and Legacy support. I help individuals and families gently sort belongings, memories, and emotional attachments, reducing overwhelm while honoring the life that's been lived. I also enjoy collaborating on meaningful legacy projects that offer comfort and connection during this time. My approach is holistic, grounded, and heart-centered, and I deeply value collaboration with hospice professionals. My intention is to be an additional layer of presence and support for families.
