About Cristen

I have worked professionally with children of all ages ranging 10 days old - 17-year-olds. My previous professions including: pre-school teacher, Ed Tech III, Director of Child Care at Migis Lodge, Children's Service Coordinator and currently a Director of Daycare in South Portland. Experience includes: Working with children with trauma, mental health diagnosis, intellectual disabilities, and physical limitations. I'm very comfortable swimming with children and have even taught some to swim. I love art projects and think it is a very important way for children to express themselves. I graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in Child Development and Family Relations. Working with children is one of my biggest passions. I'm CPR and first aid certified, I also have my Behavioral Health Professional Certification.
