About Cris

It's important to me for my students to feel empowered and maintain their autonomy while meeting goals. I use Montessori and gentle parenting techniques to help kids with their school work. For adults, I use a facilitative approach. My specialty is working with folks with learning disabilities. I spend a lot of time learning a student's learning styles, what is *really* blocking them, and designing systems and accommodations to make learning better. Overall, I have tutored elementary school, high school, and college students in STEM and the Arts. Here is a list of things I tutor for.
