About Coyah

I earned my bachelor's degree in Child and Family Studies from Carson-Newman University. Some of my experience includes creating daily schedules to assist children with getting used to a routine and learning structure. I'd describe my personality as bubbly, polished, polite. I like working with kids because I am confident in my developmentally appropriate skills, and I truly enjoy seeing their personalities shine as they grow. I started working with kids in 2019 in the Child Development Lab, where I gained hands-on experience supporting children's growth. Then became a 2nd grade teacher in Memphis. In my spare time, I like to do yoga , cook and spend time with family and friends! I bring both teaching experience and a nurturing personality, which allows me to balance fun with structure. I believe in creating a safe, engaging, and loving environment. My skills include developmental appropriate communication and activities , creative engagement and patience.
