About Courtney

I was in childcare for years and this past year I decided to add to my job experiences and try my hand in the medical field/ senior care. Last year I got my first job doing home health care. I ended up liking it so much that I got a job working in an assisted living facility. I was hired as a personal care assistant and while there I was trained to become a medical technician. I finished my nursing assistant classes at Bethlehem Vo-Tech and passed. I took my clinicals at Holy Family Manor in Bethlehem. I then moved on to work at Lehigh Valley Health Network, where I worked as a Technical Partner on a medical/surgical unit for 5 years. While there I received my Phlebotomy license, also through Bethlehem Vo-Tech. I then made the choice to move into a more flexible job setting doing home health care where I currently work through an agency part time at Right at Home . I am looking to branch out more on my own to offer my services, around my 7-year-old son's school schedule :)
