About Courtney

While I am transitioning into professional part-time child care, I bring a strong background from my real life experiences raising three children of my own. I bring warmth and patience, and a deep commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for kids. Over the past 20 years I have been a stay at home mom, while also working part time as a bookkeeper. I have actively volunteered in the classroom for my children during their younger grade school years, field trips and special activities or school events being my favorite. I'd work alongside teachers and supervise group play, small reading groups, and occasionally helped children resolve conflicts peacefully. I have first hand experience with meal prep, establishing calming bedtime routines, potty training, and keeping children actively engaged away from screens. I pride myself on being deeply reliable, punctual, and adaptable. I am certified in First Aid and CPR with an emphasis on child and infant safety.
