About Courtney

I began babysitting for pay at 10 years old. I have experience in babysitting infants, children with behavioral issues, children with physical disabilities, and children with dietary restrictions. I have babysat and nannied twins along with their siblings. I was approved to babysit foster children in Idaho and I have a current CPR certification. My last job, that I worked for 18 months, was working with teenagers and adults with special needs, such as severe autism, down syndrome, Williamson Syndrome, traumatic brain injuries, and others. My job included caring for them and teaching them skills to become more self-sufficient. I went with them to work, I helped them set and achieve goals, I helped them to better communicate with others, and we often did things in the community to help improve their confidence and interpersonal skills. I enjoy making a difference in people's lives and helping them grow.
