About Courtney

Hi! I am an energetic, empathetic classroom teacher who's looking for work outside of the classroom right now. I'd be happy to work as a part-time tutor or a full time e-Learning-supporting-nanny or learning pod leader. I am happy to work with children of all ages and/or multiple families, as long as we can all agree on a COVID safety plan for our group. I am living in Lincoln Park, Chicago. I have two years of classroom experience teaching French and English Language Arts at a high school in South Bend, Indiana. I have also worked as a teacher assistant at an Early Childhood Education Center with children 3-5, taught swim lessons to children 3-15, and have volunteered extensively with elementary and middle school students. I have babysat and nannied for children of all ages. I speak French and German and I like to say that I am perpetually learning Spanish. I have always been interested in history and the natural sciences and would love to help with those too. Let's get in touch!
