Hi! My name is Courtney and I am currently a senior at Rhode Island College where I am pursuing my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. Previously I have worked as a PreK teacher for 5 years. This opportunity allowed me to care for 20 children while creating a safe and nurturing environment for them to learn in. Play based learning and encouraging a growth mindset is so important to me and I try to incorporate this with the children I watch! I have experience watching babies starting at 4 months old to 12 years old! I am looking to find childcare opportunities for after school care starting Jan 2026 and weekend care starting now! On a personal note, I love the beach, watching reality TV and being outside. Anything with a hike or walk on a nice day is my favorite. Courtney was our nanny 3 days a week from the time my oldest was 4 months old until she was 2.5. Courtney is a true gem! I really credit her to how quickly my toddlers language developed, her learning of the abcs and counting. Courtney took a genuine interest in my daughters development and curated activities for her that helped her learn and grow. Courtney was always coming up with clever art projects, sensory games and even took my daughter to the library and play ground for social emotional activities as well. Our family is so sad that Courtney’s schedule has changed and she can no longer nanny for us in the same capacity as before. She is truly one of a kind!
