About Courtney

Throughout the years I've grown my experience working with children through teaching programs, courses, and camps. Prior to this work I have volunteered in childcare and babysat. I spent some of my teenage years caring for step siblings: two who have cerebral palsy, and two who were under the age of two. Last year, my grandmother came to live with me for in-home hospice. During that time, life became consistently meaningful - feeding and bathing, changing and clothing her. It changed my life and showed me the depth that I am able to contribute to others. Care, nurture, and creativity are important roles I love to embody. I've grow as a person and caretaker and know the value love adds to life.
