About Courtney

I have hands-on experience working with students in both academic and community settings. I worked at the Boys and Girls Club during the summer and currently tutor elementary school students several times a week through my school's Spark Scholars program. I also have experience with young children at the Early Childhood Education Center at Ucmerced and have volunteered in family and student support programs, such as food and backpack giveaways. These roles have strengthened my communication, patience, and ability to explain concepts clearly, which makes me confident in my ability to support students as a tutor.
