It's my goal to provide compassionate and reliable support to seniors and their families. With eight years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant, I'm passionate about promoting well-being and independence. My background includes a BA in Communication Studies, CPR Training and working with mentally and physically disabled individuals. I have experience working in the homecare setting as well as at a long-term care facility. I adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and handle confusion with patience. I communicate with families through verbal updates, texts, or phone calls, following their preferences. Respecting independence is essential to me when connecting with care recipients. Being compassionate, friendly, and calm allows me to provide the best possible care. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I became a caregiver to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
